Van Mahotsav
“For in the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver.”
Van' means 'forest' and 'mahotsav' means 'festival'. The name Van Mahotsav means " FESTIVAL OF FORESTS ". It has gained significant national importance and every year, millions of saplings are planted across India in observation of Van Mahotsav week. It is the need of the hour to disseminate the effect of global warming and develop the passion for green planting. The Tree Festival-Van Mahotsav was celebrated gleefully in our school campus between 1st July and 7th July 2018.
