Inauguration
The programme commenced with lighting Kuthuvilaku followed by the prayer. Smt. B. Usharani, Principal welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guests Sri. L. Natarajan, Sri. Y. Gee. Mahendra, Nadaga Thilagam, Secretary, Bharat Kalachar, Sri. Dr. V. Thanjai Rajan, Isai Mamani, Isai Kalaimani. Sri. Y. Gee. Mahendra spoke about love our nation and patriotism. He wanted the students to give respect their parents and teachers. Dr. V. Thanjai Rajan gave a vibrant speech. He spoke about the importance of mother, father and teacher. He quoted some Swami Vivekananda's quotes. He sang wonderful patriotic song and devotional song to encourage the students. The judges for the National song, Bajan song and cultural quiz were honoured. The competitions were conducted in the respective venues.
Valedictory
The programme started with prayer. Sri. R. V. Ramalingam, Correspondent welcome the gathering and introduced the chief guests Sri. Sankar Ganesh, Music Director, Film composer, Singer, Smt. Kovai Kamala, K. B. Sundarambal Isai Vaarisu, Kalaimaamani, Sri. T. Chakravarthy, Vice President, VES & Kshetra President, Vidya Bharathi, Sri. Sundar, Vidya Bharathi Tamil Nadu State Organiser, Sri. L. Ramamoorthy, Joint Secretary, VES, Sri. K. Ponraman, Education Officer, VES, Smt. R. Sethu Bai, Education Officer, Sri. S. Jagathalaprathaban, Shareerik Co-ordinator. He also invited the Principals and Correspondents of various units and SDC members. Th e prize winners of National song, Bajan song and cultural quiz were announced.
Sri. T. Chakravarthy, Vice President, VES & Kshetra President, Vidya Bharathi gave a vibrant speech. He said that the students are the future of our country and they should imbibe our cultural values and promote peace and harmony in our country. Smt. Kovai Kamala began her speech by singing Lord Muruga song and appreciated all the students for their excellent performance. Sri. Shankar Ganesh said that Vivekananda Educational Society students excel in singing Bhakthi songs and National songs. He also affirmed that the students will have a bright future. Then the prizes were distributed to the prize winners. The programme ended with Shanthi Mantra.
